Although I really miss living in Austin, one of the things I love most about our move to Ohio is how centralized it is in location to a lot of fun things. In Texas- you could drive for 9 hours and still be in Texas. In Ohio, you could drive for two or three hours and be in Columbus, or Kentucky or Indiana- a little further and you can go to Cleveland or Tennessee. There are so many great options to explore for a weekend within driving distance, which is something I’m not used to.
Our first weekend trip since moving to Cincinnati was Louisville. We have so many places we want to visit, but the pandemic is surely putting a restriction on that. We were able to explore Louisville over the summer and hit some really great spots for Bourbon, Beer and snacks. That’s the list! Louisville is in no short supply of fun- for all ages! Whether you’re a bourbon lover, traveling with pets or children or looking to party, there’s something for everyone! I’m personally motivated to eat as much good food as possible that I won’t be able to find at home, there were so many great places, we definitely need to go back soon!
